Furthermore, the tub was extraordinarily slippery with no grip options, almost resulting in a serious fall, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom to alleviate moisture issues. To top it off, the bar was lacking basics like a blender, so we couldn't even enjoy a simple tropical drink during our stay.

The stay was overall pleasant. I enjoyed how well-appointed my room was, and the AC did a good job of keeping things cool. The breakfast had a decent selection, although it could use a bit more variety, like some pastries or additional fruit options. Plus, the location is convenient, with various dining options nearby to explore after checking out the I-20 Wildlife Preserve and the Museum of the Southwest.

However, we did find the room had some signs of age, like peeling wallpaper. The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the bathtub.
